I also think it was only by the end of the first season that we got to see some of the darker undercurrents to Trish’s backstory. I think there is a very ambitious side to Trish and I wonder how it could continue into a second season and what that would mean. Her giftedness, as we call it in the series. I think one of the things that sits right under the surface in the first season is this, not maliciousness, but certainly an envy for Jessica’s super powered abilities.
